How I Make Decisions

Board deliberations and votes are confidential, and once decisions are made, unity matters. At the same time, I believe Shareholders should understand the values and judgment that would guide me as their representative.

I would start with data and long-term financial impact.

I believe decisions should be grounded in facts, not assumptions. I value solid information, measurable trends, and direct feedback from Shareholders. Tools like surveys matter because they help us respond to what our people actually want, not what we assume they want.

I would weigh cultural responsibility alongside financial return.

Our mission and values are not separate from business success. I want our corporation to be not only financially strong, but also culturally grounded and aligned with who we are as Alutiiq people.

  • 3

I would prioritize sustainable, measurable outcomes over short-term optics.

As a mother, I care deeply about the future we are building. I want our corporation to remain strong not just this year, but for decades to come. That means choosing long-term health, clarity, and stability over quick wins.

You may not always agree with every decision I would support, but you would know the principles guiding my service.
